As you probably already know, from previous articles posted on our web site, and our Facebook Group, we have been focused on being vigilant in preparing for the possibility of Hurricane Matthew’s unwelcome appearance in the region and deciding the status Walk 103. As the weather reports started unfolding Monday evening, the Wilmington and Topsail Beach areas seem to be well enough in the danger zone for Hurricane Matthew. For that reason, the Coastal Carolina Board of Directors believes it is the best interest of the pilgrims, team, support volunteers, and the community to cancel this weekend’s Walk 103. More information will be forthcoming on rescheduling or moving the resources of Walk 103 to the Spring Men’s Walk will be announced in the November newsletter. In the meantime, let us all be in prayer for all of the effected areas. Be safe through the storm, may God be with you and your families.
