What is the Walk to Emmaus
From the Upper Room web site:
The walk to Emmaus is an experience of Christian spiritual renewal and formation that begins with a three-day short course in Christianity. It is an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ in a new way as God’s grace and love is revealed to you through other believers. Read More
Who We Are
The Coastal Carolina Community is a community that joins together in biblical “Koinonia.” You will find that we are a community of Christians with a shared experience of Christ Agape Love as expressed in the Walk to Emmaus. In this community we are supportive to others attending the weekend experience, called walks, and to the larger community. In addition to our community we are connected the Son Coast Chrysalis Community, a weekend experience for teens. There are many areas where you can plug into both communities:
- Attend a walk for the first time as an attendee, called a pilgrim.
- After you have attend a weekend you can volunteer in a support role during a walk or for that matter a Chrysalis flight.
- You can attend an Emmaus Gathering, which is open to ANYONE interested in learning more about the Emmaus and Chrysalis communities.
